I’ve been professionally writing and editing for more than fifteen years.
During the 1990s, I covered music, culture, and environmental and social issues as a journalist during the zine heyday for indie and mainstream publications — some of which I still do today, as well as creative prose and fiction.*
In that time, I started working as a freelance copy editor and proofreader, first in magazine publishing, expanding into book, advertising and communications, design, and eventually comprehensive project work for individual clients. I’ve also traveled some rewarding portions of the world, often by bicycle.
I hold a degree in English, with a specialization in writing, and a minor in biology from NYU.
I live and work in Manhattan.
